Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights, but economy seats may be available at higher fares if advertised price is sold out. North American gateways include Baltimore/Washington (BWI), Boston (BOS), Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP), New York (JFK), Orlando Sanford (SFB), and beginning in May 2008, Halifax (YHZ) and Toronto (YYZ). A $25 per person weekend surcharge may apply each way for Fri, Sat and Sun flights. Please note: SFB and MSP departures additional $65 per person round-trip ($50 per person round trip Nov 1, 2007 – May 15, 2008). MSP departures not available Jan 9 – Mar 8, 2008 (subject to change). Packages not available Dec 15, 2007 - Jan 5, 2008 (except for New Year’s On Top of the World). Each day of trip must be using hotels or cars booked through Icelandair Holidays prior to departure. Packages subject to availability and price change. No refund for unused portion of any package or service once travel has commenced. Package prices include booking fee. Other conditions may apply. Car rental note: Drop-off fees may apply for rental cars dropped off in a different location from where picked up. Collision and Damages waivers, airport service charges, extra driver fees and gasoline are not included. All fees are paid in Iceland. Day tour and package add-on notes: Please reconfirm the hotel pick-up time for booked day tours with the tour operator in Iceland the day before the day tour. Your hotel front desk can assist you with this. Please note hotel transfers are not included for Day Tours by Air, Spa Admissions and Gourmet Dining. Cancellation policy: Nonrefundable if cancelled less than 1 week (5 business days) before departure. Important: Additional hotel nights may be required at passenger’s expense due to Icelandair’s schedule. Packages require a minimum ten-day advance booking and purchase. Payment: Full payment is due to Icelandair within 7 days following the confirmation of bookings that are not made on-line. Full payment is required at booking time for on-line bookings. Documents are usually sent 10 to 14 days before departure unless passenger makes alternative arrangements upon booking. Internet bookings documents are issued as electronic vouchers and tickets. Bookings 7 days or less to departure may be subject to a $400 per person pre-paid fee. Icelandair Holidays reserves the right to refuse any bookings within 30 days of departure. Unpaid bookings will be cancelled. Express mail fees: Bookings made 30 days or less prior to departure require a $25.00 per booking express handling and mailing fee. Baggage allowance: Free baggage allowance limited to two check-in pieces per person; neither exceeding 62 in. (L+W+H) and 50 lbs. One carry-on is allowed per passenger not exceeding 45 in. and 13 lbs. Baggage and small items (coats, purses, etc.) are at owner’s risk throughout the tour. Security measures prohibit bringing sharp cutting objects, liquids, lotions and gels as carry-on items or in-hand luggage. Liquid items purchased in Duty Free shops outside Europe can not be taken to Iceland in hand baggage. Escorted tours: Include round-trip transatlantic air on Icelandair and tour per itinerary. Some escorted tours require a minimum number of passengers to operate. Passengers will be notified before departure if a tour is cancelled and advised of alternatives. We cannot reimburse for non-refundable domestic carrier tickets purchased separately from package if a tour departure is cancelled. Tour routes may be affected by weather and closures. If passengers with specific dietary needs or medical conditions inform us at booking time we will make the tour operators aware of these needs. Please be aware that Icelandair cannot be responsible if the tour operator can not accommodate all special requests. Changes: Changes will be accommodated based on availability. A $400 change fee per person applies to changes made up to 30 days before departure. Bookings cannot be changed 29 days or less prior to departure. Cancellation and refunds: Cancellation of a confirmed package will become effective the date Icelandair Holidays receives written or fax notification of the passenger’s intention to cancel the reservation. A $400 per person fee applies to packages cancelled 60 – 30 days before departure. Packages are nonrefundable 29 days or less prior to departure. Hotel Bookings in Europe: A $30 cancellation fee applies for cancellation of hotel nights booked in European destinations outside Iceland. Non-refundable items: Eurostar tickets, European overnight cruises, Airwaves passes, concert event tickets, and other items as applies. Refunds: No refund for “no shows” or for any unused portion of any tour or service after travel has commenced. All refunds require a minimum of 8 to 10 weeks for processing, following written application. All original travel documents must be returned to Icelandair Holidays in order to initiate refund process. Insurance: Personal travel, trip cancellation, health and baggage insurance are not available through Icelandair Holidays. However, Icelandair Holidays recommends the purchase of insurance. Insurance can be purchased through Access America. Visit www.icelandair.com for details. Documents: A valid U.S. or Canadian passport is required for U.S. and Canadian citizens who travel to all Icelandair Holidays destinations. U.S. and Canadian citizens do not need visas. Other nationals should contact the appropriate destination embassy for visa information. Icelandair Holidays cannot be held responsible and will not waive ticket reservations if passenger does not possess correct documentation at time of entry. Responsibility: Icelandair Holidays and/or its agents give notice that all tickets, vouchers, and coupons issued by them and all arrangements for transport or conveyance or for hotel accommodations and car rentals made by them are made by them as agents for the passenger upon the express condition that they shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of defect in any vehicle or through the acts or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour, or otherwise in connection therewith, or of any hotel proprietor, employee, car rental company or other tour participant. The carriers and/or their agents can accept no responsibility for losses or accidental expenses due to delay or changes in schedules, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine, or other causes. All such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the passengers. They shall not be liable for changes in the published itinerary, whenever in their sole judgement conditions warrant, or if they deem it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of the passengers, including but not limited to mode of transportation and hotels. Neither the operators (and/or their agents) nor the airlines concerned are to be held responsible for lack of snow or non-operation of lifts at ski resorts, or for closure of access routes to or from resorts due to bad weather or road conditions or for other reasons beyond their control, nor are they to be held liable for payment of any refund for unused hotel accommodations or meals occasioned by such late arrivals, the hotel holding rooms as per confirmed iti nerary. The right is reserved to decline to accept or return any person as a member of any tour or to cancel or alter the tour. The airlines and other transportation companies whose services are featured in these tours are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their conveyance.
