I am at my best when I am busy and my work is challenging, so I knew that Iceland would be the place for me. Last year my boyfriend and I decided to go there for a week. We have different ideas when it comes to adventure but fortunately Iceland has something for everyone, so we both had a great time. he loves mountaineering in winter, so one of the highlights of his trip was ice climbing on a glacier. he was like a small child when he reached the top of the ice cliff after an hour of hard climbing - excited and exhilarated. 2006-2007 + ICE CLImBINg + SOLhEImAJOKuLL gLACIER We went up onto Solheimajokull glacier on snowmobiles. Iceland is an unbelievable country. Nothing compares to racing across a glistening, white sheet of snow or travelling over an awe-inspiring glacier in a specially adapted 4-wheel drive vehicle. + KALDIDALuR This was an unforgettable experience. We went on a SuperJeep safari to this valley in the highlands; so remote but only three hours from Reykjavik. It was so quiet, so enthralling. how often do you get to hear the Earth turn ? + hORSE RIDINg We have completely different interests so I thought that we might argue a bit on our trip. In fact our only disagreement was when we both wanted to ride the same horse when we went riding.
