Days 4–5: Melbourne Then you’re on to Melbourne in Victoria. This cosmopolitan city is easy to explore on foot, tram, bike, or even from the system of water taxis. Visit Federation Square and the Arts Centre and stroll along trendy Southbank. Dine on board a historic tramcar restaurant as it winds its way through the streets of Melbourne. Day 6: Uluru (Ayers Rock) Fly to Uluru (Ayers Rock), the heart of Australia to the Aboriginal people.
