That’s why we give you our utmost assurance that we will stand by our product to ensure you have a fulfilling vacation experience. Therefore, if any tangible package feature is not delivered as described in your travel documents (except under circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the tour operator), we will refund the value of the undelivered package feature plus issue a travel credit which may be used for future packages, provided proper documentation of the claim is received within 30 days after completion of your Delta Vacations package. THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WE MAKE NO OTHER WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ARISING BY LAW OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY ARISING FROM COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, COURSE OF DEALING, OR USAGE OF TRADE. CLAIMS MUST BE POSTMARKED AND SUBMITTED WITHIN 30 DAYS AFTER COMPLETION OF YOUR VACATION TO: DELTA VACATIONS, P.O. BOX 1525, FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA 33302 DEPOSITS/PAYMENTS: Payment prices may vary due to airfare, hotel, and supplier restrictions. Full payment may be required earlier depending on these restrictions. If full payment is not received IN HOUSE (at Delta Vacations office) on the due date, the trip is subject to cancellation. Packages that include Published airfare require full payment of the air component at the time of booking. Payment in full must be received by the due date. If payment is not received, or if payment is withdrawn through credit card chargeback, the Operator shall be entitled to recover reasonable collection fees, attorney fees, and any other costs associated with recovering the full package price. Such fees commonly add a minimum of 30% to the payment amount due on the booking. Package price is not guaranteed until the reservation is paid in full. REVISIONS: Once payment is made, a revision fee, plus any supplier fee (including airline fees according to the rules of the fare type purchased) will be charged for any changes made to dates, hotel, ground and air transportation. All air revisions are subject to the rules and restrictions imposed by the airline. Name changes are NOT allowed. Revisions are not permitted within 5 days of departure. Other ticketing fees may apply. Greater penalties may be imposed by certain hotels when travel dates are changed after the Operator has returned control of room availability to the resort. CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS: In the unlikely event that you need to cancel the vacation, various cancellation fees apply which can be up to 100% of the cost of the vacation. You must call our office prior to your original departure time or you will be subject to no-show penalties. All air tickets are non-refundable. Written requests for refunds on cancellations and all travel documents must be returned to Customer Relations within 30 days of cancellation. Failure to follow these requirements will result in waiver of rights to cancellation refunds. Unused or partially used tour features and components are non-refundable. In the event of a no-show, the entire payment will be forfeited. Before canceling or revising your vacation package, contact our Support Desk for information on airline penalties. SCHEDULE CHANGES: Regular scheduled flights have been selected for the vacation package, however, Delta Vacations does not guarantee any specific flight schedule and will not be held responsible for any changes that result in an increase in airfare or deviation in the original flight itinerary. The customer will be responsible for any expenses incurred. The Vacation Protection Plan Section I – Provided by Certified Vacations Group, Inc. Available at an additional cost, this optional policy allows travelers to cancel their vacation for any reason with the guarantee of a full refund. Note that the cancel for any reason provision excludes reimbursement for non-refundable airfares, airline-imposed cancellation fees, lost ticket fees, revision fees, highly restrictive components, and reduction to the number of persons traveling. It will not provide reimbursement for reservations that are not canceled in advance of departure (“no shows”). Section II – Travel Insurance underwritten by National Union Fire Insurance Company Trip Cancellation reimburses the non-refundable airfare, fees and penalties and/or the cost of non-refundable prepaid event tickets and optional tours should you need to cancel your Trip for a covered reason such as an illness, injury or death to you, a traveling companion, or immediate family member. Please see www.deltavacations.com/vpp for a complete list of covered reasons for cancellation under Section II. • Trip Interruption – Reimburses for the unused non-refundable Land Arrangements and Trip Components up to your total vacation cost if you have to interrupt your trip because of injury, illness or death affecting you, your immediate family members or traveling companion. • Trip Delay – If you are delayed from taking your trip for 8 hours or more due to weather or other covered reasons, the plan reimburses you up to $300 ($100/ day) for additional accommodations, meals and transportation so that you can catch-up to your trip. • Medical Expenses -– Should you become ill or injured during your vacation, the plan provides coverage for reimbursement of necessary medical expenses up to $5,000. • Baggage/Personal Effects Protection – If your bags or personal effects are lost, stolen, damaged during your vacation or the arrival of your luggage is delayed by a common carrier, you are eligible for reimbursement of up to $1,000 for loss, theft and damage or $300 ($100/day) in the event of a baggage delay of 24 hours or more. • Accidental Death and Dismemberment - In the unlikely event that you become dismembered or die while in an Air accident, you or your estate will receive compensation of up to $25,000. • Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation of Remains – If you sustain an injury or illness while on your vacation that requires transportation to a specialized facility or to return home, the plan provides coverage up to $15,000. • Worldwide Emergency Assistance – Worldwide emergency assistance is available to you 24 hours a day /7 days a week. The assistance includes help with medical and dental emergencies, lost or stolen travel documents, cash transfers, legal referrals, and other travel-related problems.
