Dinner included roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, fresh rolls and pumpkin pie. The hotel later teamed with the development center to deliver Christmas presents and Christmas Eve dinners to those in need. Two years later, in December 2007, more than 20 SaveA-Landmark volunteers from local Hampton Inn and Hampton Inn & Suites properties—dressed as holiday elves—spent about 100 hours sanding and repainting the Gulfport, Miss., attraction. The helper elves also landscaped the surrounding grounds and installed new lighting fixtures, bringing this refurbished piece of furniture into the spotlight. In addition to the volunteer effort, Hampton will contribute nearly $20,000 to ongoing care of the rocking chair. 2. Renaissance ClubSport—Walnut Creek, Calif. 1.
