The e-directories can be downloaded from the hotel brands’ Web sites. K Hotels has partnered with LRA Worldwide to create a quality assurance evaluation program as a service for its membership. Maintenance USA launched its single-source green purchasing program, EcoSource. TeleAdapt collaborated with Samsung Electronics to ensure compatibility between its optional connectivity panel, the MediaHub, and Samsung’s hospitality televisions. The MediaHub gives hotel guests the ability to experience their music, photos, videos and other multimedia content from their own personal portable electronics device on a guestroom’s flat-screen HDTV. Broadband Hospitality opened new U.S. regional offices in the Northeast and Southeast. Lodging industry veteran Gary Till will lead the Northeast office and be based in Washington as director of business development. Merchant Link enhanced its flagship credit card payment security product, TransactionVault, by assigning a unique encrypted key to each credit card used so customers can be linked with other purchases and transactions. TourismROI will manage more than 12,000 landing pages with Ektron software, and more than 1 million community Carlson Hotels Worldwide selected Birch Street Systems’ e-Procurement platform and Capital Projects module to manage the purchasing and project management processes for the rollout of the brand’s interior design upgrade to the Country Inns and Suites by Carlson brand. Carlson will use Birch Street’s hosted eProcurement software to track and manage furniture, fixtures and equipment purchasing and the Capital Projects module to manage the renovation project.
