Hotel guests and developers alike are demanding more originality, functionality and areas of engagement. With new brands popping up regularly, and construction and renovation work at record levels, good design is critical as a product differentiator and average daily rate generator. Despite recession rumblings and skittish lending markets, construction of new hotels in the U.S. remains strong.
