Learn to see the shape in its basic foundation and change the balance and asymmetry using disconnection and texturizing techniques. Whether you are new or a veteran to the industry, get ready to push your comfort zone. Session limited to 40 attendees. Students should bring: scissors/shears, thinning shears, combs, clips, flat iron, blow dryer. about alex: Alex spent approximately 10 years with Vidal Sassoon, where he quickly became Artistic Director. In 1990 he moved to another prominent chain of 40 salons country-wide, Heidi’s, where he served as the National Director of Education, developing training programs and teaching manuals enabling instructors to teach effectively. He then opened TRIO Salon, Ltd. Alex is featured in many magazines, including Allure, Chicago Tribune, Glamour, American Salon, Modern Salon, Salon Today, Salon News, and Process and was named one of the top 35 stylists in the country by Self magazine. He has worked on television, preparing hair for commercials, makeovers for talk shows and various music videos. During this class, you will learn two contemporary techniques, based on classic principles. Creative but consumer friendly! Limited to 40 students. They have also created the “Secret 7 Styling System,” a one-of-a-kind haircutting and hairstyling system where the hair is sectioned hair into seven zones. This three hour, hands-on class will teach you how to achieve beautiful, timeless hairstyles. Whether it’s the classic looks your bride desires, or a fresh, updated spin on long hairdressing, these two artists will guide you through the step-by-steps of creating looks your brides and bridal parties will fall in love with.
