Our clients are overwhelmed with all the options. In this class, you will learn the different formulas, sheer and rich pigments, sparkling, good for the lip ingredients and ways to work with them. You will also learn what type of lip brush is right for the different lip shapes our clients have. Noreen will also show on a model how to offer lip exams, makeovers, and lip quickies. She will also show you what colors make the teeth look whiter and what products to consider retailing for a super sexy smile! This class is not just for the makeup artist. Estheticians should consider ending every facial with a touch of lipstick and a light, tinted moisturizer. Business owners listen up as well. If you are not selling lipsticks, you’re missing out on another retail avenue. When economic times are tough a woman doesn’t buy a mink coat, she buys a lipstick to make herself happy. Come let Noreen put a smile on your face and learn a few new fabulous lip tricks! A free gift will be given at the end of the class to lucky class attendees. Noreen Young is a business owner of a posh and pretty makeup studio in sunny Florida. She is an educator and freelance makeup artist from NYC and worked with Diane Von Furstenberg, sports celebrities and icons such as John Madden and Chris Evert, and the Larry King Show. Her print work includes: Revlon/Roux professional products, Wrangler and many more. Many brides have no idea what they want their makeup to look like or they have unrealistic expectations from makeup. This class will include a live demonstration of the Classic Bridal look as well as address how to make sure you don’t stress the bride and she doesn’t stress you. Attendees will leave the class feeling more conﬁdent and equipped to turn a stressful part of the business into a proﬁtable and fun business J. Scott Berry, member of the National Cosmetology Association, EstheticsAmerica, Association of Cosmetology & Salon Professionals and CIDESCO, began his career as a Makeup Artist at age 18. Since then he has been an educator and makeup artist working in salons, day spas and in 2005 he opened his own J. Scott’s Skin Care & Day Spa in Leesburg Florida. His day spa won “Best Day Spa in Lake County” for the past 3 years and in 2006 J. Scott was inducted into “Who’s Who Among American Professional Estheticians”. Having spent several years as an International Educator for Repêchage Skin Care, J. Scott is now the Southeast Area Manager/Skin Care & Spa Consultant for Repêchage. 12:45pm – 2:00pm • Room W304F The World of Eyelash Extensions Nilma Flores 10:15am – 11:15am • Room W304F A presentation of the different eyelash extensions available, this session will provide an orientation to the customer and demonstrate preparation of the eye and natural eyelashes for the procedure. Nilma will also discuss proper organization for a convenient working tray, care and recommendations for lasting eyelash extensions. An actual application of the eyelash extensions will be performed. Nilma Flores is a leader in the arts of movie, television, photography and corrective makeup. She has done makeup for movies of 20th Century Fox. Now she teaches the techniques she has developed over the years working for artists and beauty queens… and for all women who love to look glamorous. Your Makeup Brush Can Only Do So Much Dr. Vaishali Doolabh, MD, FACS • Contemporary Plastic Surgery At some point, a plastic surgeon may be the answer for your clients beauty needs. She subsequently completed a subspecialty Fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery. Dr. Doolabh has been honored by grants and awards from the National Institutes of Health, Plastic Surgery Education Foundation and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
