She has had a life-long interest in environmental issues and has expressed that interest through her product line, her company and her life in general. She sits on the board of ICMAD. Bringing Green-Conscious Teens into Your Spa presented by Judi Shils These young women are informed, thoughtful trendsetters. From the products they use daily to the businesses they research and support, these teen “green girls” have a profound effect on the services and products they patronize. How do you assess what these teenagers can mean to your business and how do you market to them? Judi Shils will share the successes of their campaign and provide you with tools to attract this powerful teenage market. Judi Shils is the Executive Director of Teens for Safe Cosmetics. Its mission is to advocate for laws to protect health, educate about green products and inspire teens across the nation to work together. In collaboration with the National Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, they played a key role in the passage of the California Safe Cosmetics Act in 2005. Judi is also an Emmy Award-winning network television producer. She resides in Marin with her teenage daughter, Erin, her greatest inspiration.
