Floris Curaçao The L’Occitane Spa at Hilton San Francisco; Short Hills, N.J.; and Waikoloa Village, Hawaii The Hilton Hotels and Resorts announced partnership with L’Occitane will make its debut in the 4Q 2008 at select hotels, including Hilton San Francisco, Hilton Short Hills, N.J. and Hilton Waikoloa Village, Hawaii. The redesigns will change existing hotels’ full-service spas, menu of services and spa product offerings - building on the success of similar spas in Hong Kong, Taipei and Paris. Hilton Hotels Corporation plans to develop 70 new spas throughout its portfolio, a project that will cost an estimated $200 million. Lionstone Development, L.L.C. recently acquired this all-suite resort located on the beaches of Curaçao. Designed by Jan des Bouvrie, the Floris has 71 suites that feature natural stone tile floors, mahogany doors and windows, and Dutch colonial-style furniture with a Caribbean flair. Other perks of the Floris include a private beach, live entertainment several times a week, and an on-site, Mediterranean-inspired restaurant. Solís The Palmyra Jamaica Solís The Palmyra Resort & Spa is a 16acre oceanfront resort opening in autumn 2008. Located within this new Caribbean destination are suites, penthouses, villas, three championship golf courses, two pools overlooking the sea , a swimming cove, private beach, four restaurants and Jamaica’s first ESPA destination spa, designed by Susan Harmsworth. The Solís also takes pride in its accessible culinary experience. Along with four restaurants, The Solís offers gourmet-to-go foods at the Gourmet shop and 24-hour, in-room dining service.
