The sense of refinement and exclusivity in a sophisticated environment makes Palm Beach the perfect place for a relaxed vacation. Hotel: It’s impossible to choose just one! However, I will say that when looking for a hotel, I seek out properties that exude elegance, comfort and style without being extravagant. Car: Ferrari because I have been following its development through Formula 1 racing for the last 30 years. Restaurant: Daniel in New York City—refinement and superb service at its best. Watch: Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Geographic. It makes changing time zones easy for traveling. I prefer the one with the crocodile strap. After 30 years in the industry, Raul Bustamante stepped into his role as managing director at the Condado Plaza Hotel & Casino two years ago and brought with him his own sense of luxury— “elegance, refinement, style and sophistication.” The San Juan, Puerto Rico, hotel is “a splendid surrounding conducive to pleasure and comfort,” which is precisely how Mr. Bustamante defines luxury in a hotel. Mobile phone: BlackBerry Pearl. It has everything in a small and convenient device: phone, camera, Internet and e-mail. å Laptop: Acer TravelMate 4500. A little heavy but fast with sufficient memory space. I like its graphic capability for stock charting. Shoes: A. Testoni; stylish, comfortable and durable. What else can you expect from a good pair of shoes? Suit: Canali; these always fit perfectly! One of the best. Perfume or Cologne: Tabarome Millésime by Creed. Very classy; a dry, long-lasting masculine perfume. ç Book: “Animal Farm” by George Orwell. A good description of human behavior. If you read it with his “1984,” even better. 3 Drink: Moët & Chandon Brut Imperiale Rosé. A cold glass of champagne is as refreshing as freshly squeezed orange juice, which also is my favorite. é Collection of items: Books and watches; I own over 5,000 books and CDs.
