The daily morning stretching classes and Chiva-Som Signature Cocoon are our favorite spa picks; ful cuisine in a soothing setting (right); the Garden Room (below) is an ideal spot to unwind. chi nei tsang (holistic therapies) are also popular among ChivaSom’s many repeat guests. Facilities include a Watsu pool, a dance and Pilates studio, a yoga sala, a Kneipp therapy foot bath and the Niranlada Medi-Spa, which offers a full spectrum of non-invasive laser treatments. The Mayflower Spa opened in 2006 and comprises eight treatment rooms, a couple’s suite, and a host of fitness options. Its intimate size (the spa can accommodate up to just 28 guests at a time) makes it ideal for those seeking respite, and the genial staff is welcoming without ever being overly attentive.
