Guests can take part in fully escorted two- to six-night tours that depart from one port of call and rejoin the ship at another. Hotel accommodations include stays at such luxury brands as The Peninsula, Mandarin Oriental and Oberoi. Highlights of the new Overland Adventures include an orangutan experience in Borneo’s Kota Kinabalu rainforest in Sandakan, covering more than 2,000 miles; an excursion to Ayers Rock, the world’s largest monolith, in the Australian outback; and treks in India, showcasing the Ajanta and Ellora caves and the Pink City of Jaipur and Udaipur. Meanwhile, in order to keep up with growing demand, Crystal has added 20 third-berth accommodations to Crystal Serenity, an overall increase of 15 percent.
