Luxury Travel Advisor - November 2007 - (Page 38) HOTELS REGENT PALMS For luxury travelers looking for a quiet, romantic retreat in the Caribbean, book the posh and recently reflagged Regent Palms Turks & Caicos (www.regenthot els.com/thepalms). What we enjoyed most about this property was that there was always a peaceful place to be alone and it never felt crowded or pretentious. We stayed in room 4203, a one-bedroom Oceanview Suite with two balconies, one leading from the dining room and another from the bedroom. Your VIPs will love the day bed that’s on the balcony just off the dining room; it’s the ideal place for an afternoon nap and offers a view of the property’s serpentine infinity pool with partial vistas of the ocean. We loved the speedy, in-room check-in and the fruit-and-cookie basket and bottle of water on TURKS & CAICOS ice that awaited us in our dining room. Clients won’t have to do much with the kitchen except stock it with food (this can be done in advance upon request), as it comes with glasses, dishes and silverware, and a full-size THE SPA at The Regent Palms Turks & Caicos is surrounded by a calming reflecting pool.
