There are Limoncello di Capri shops in both Anacapri (Via Capodimonte 27) and Capri (Via Roma 85). Handmade Capri-style sandals: Canfora Capri, Via Camerelle 3 in Capri, where Amedeo Canfora makes an incredible variety, is the place to start. There are several locations in Capri, Anacapri and Sorrento. DINING INDULGENCES A MASTER BEDROOM (above) is bathed in sunlight and features a combo of modern, yet traditional, décor. The Grand Caffe and Piccolo Bar are among the sidewalk cafés in the piazzetta Umberto I, where the famous, and those who watch them, sit in the evenings sipping their limocellos and Camparis. Ristorante La Gemma, owned by the Rocchi family and named in honor of the grandmother who founded it, is located in a narrow ancient passage off the piazzetta Umberto I. Ristorante La Cappanina Via Le Botteghe 12/14 is known for its lavish menu of local specialities, as well as the latenight wine bar next door. Call 011-39-081-837-0732. Add’o Riccio ristorante is the place to go near the Blue Grotto, Via della Grotta Azzurra, 11, 011-39-081-837-1380. The ESPA-branded spa overlooks the pool and the sea beyond. There are four treatment rooms, a gym, steam and sauna; plus, guests can enjoy massages and facials ESPA-style. Afterwards, just stumble poolside and fall into a lounge chair for a cool drink. Every one of the 22 rooms is fabulous in its own way, with addictive cliff-side views and private balcony escapes. Deluxe Room No. 15, with the requisite spectacular panoramic vista, has a split bathroom that includes an inviting double-glass shower. White-lacquered wood floors add to the light-filled atmosphere and a walk-in closet adds a touch of practicality to the 325-squarefoot space. We loved room No. 5, a Master Room with almost 600 square feet of space, including a corridor opening into the large bedroom, a double shower and tub in the bathroom and the summery feel of the white floors. The bedroom is all marine blue and white, with a canopy bed, sitting area and small private balcony. Tip: Similar rooms (Nos. 20-23 and 21-22) can be found higher up in the villa; on the top floor, there is a large terrace. Tip: No. 8, a Junior Suite, also has the separate double shower and bathtub. The suite is large, with lots of windows and three balconies. When thinking of weddings in Italy, the mind naturally wanders to Capri and then comes to a stop right here at JK Place. Imagine taking over this entire divine property, holding a romantic ceremony on the terrace overlooking the sea with the local mayor, or perhaps a priest, to marry you. Otherwise, this is the ultimate honeymoon spot. The high season at JK Place is Easter to November 1, but Fiori says they are definitely taking requests for the Christmas holidays and are thinking of staying open all year.
