Hotel Daniel France It’s difficult to experience all of Paris’ cathedrals, museums, shops, cafés and scenic neighborhoods in one visit. However, every visit should include the Arc de Triomphe, which leads into the Champs-Élysées, restaurants, shops, theaters and other attractions. The Eiffel Tower, of course, is de rigueur, as are the spectacular Musée Picasso and Musée d’Orsay. Simply orienting oneself within the staggering collections of the Musée du Louvre—home to the Mona Lisa and scores of other famous works—will take an entire day. The Notre-Dame Cathédrale, too, draws thousands of visitors daily. For a taste of local life, advise clients to spend a day on the Left Bank exploring the cafés and bookshops that delight both locals and visitors and have become literary legend. Access to Paris via train is easy—travel time on the Eurostar train from London or Brussels, for example, is just a few hours. For more tips about visiting Paris, visit www.luxuryta.com/past.html.
