Viking River Cruises’ (www.vikingrivercruises. com) new Viking Legend will launch in 2009 on the “Grand European Tour” itinerary. Viking is also offering two new European itineraries. The eightday “Vineyards and Vistas” operates along the Mosel, Rhine and Main Rivers. The nine-day “Elbe & the City of Spires” cruises through the former East Germany’s landscape along the Elbe River and includes one night in Prague. New music voyages this year for Peter Deilmann Cruises (www.deilmann-cruises.com) include one on April 25 aboard the Dresden sailing from Hamburg to Dresden, Germany, and another is planned on that ship for October 24. In addition, the Mozart will operate music voyages on April 26 and October 4, roundtrip from Munich (Passau).
