New Jurassic Park-Themed Kids’ Suites Have clients heading to Orlando? Mom and dad will have a fun new option when traveling to Universal Orlando with the entire family in tow. Loews Royal Pacific Resort (www.loewshotels.com) has introduced their new two-room, Jurassic Park-themed kids’ suites, which feature such interesting perks as raptor’s-cage headboards, custom wall murals, Jurassic Park-themed furniture and artwork from the making of the movies. For added security, the kids’ room can only be accessed through the parents’ room and not the outside hallway. The hotel has completed a $10 million renovation on all of the guest rooms and other suites. The accommodations now include such features as a bamboo-patterned wall screen that separates the sleeping area from the bathroom. Technology upgrades include iHome clock radios and iPod docking stations. Thirty-two-inch, flat-panel TVs are currently being installed in the guest rooms, as well as larger flat-panel TVs in all suite parlors and granite tops on guest room credenzas.
