Grenada, has agreed to an investment development plan that calls for approximately 90 luxury villas (between 4,000 and 6,000 square feet each) and apartments. The properties will overlook the Port Louis village, the Caribbean Sea and a marina that offers more than 300 yacht berths. Savary is partnering with Park Town Capital PLC to develop the project. Nikki Beach, in partnership with The De Savary Group, plans to construct a six-star resort/hotel/ club with up to 180 rooms and suites within Port Louis. Details haven' t been ironed out yet, but expectations are for about 75 to 125 rooms. Another resort in Roatan, off the Caribbean coast of Honduras, will be the centerpiece of the destination' s Blue Ocean Reef Development when it opens in 2010. In addition to the Roatan and Grenada projects, which are signed, Nikki Beach is developing sites in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Barbados and St. Lucia. Opening dates for these properties are not yet available. If Nikki is able to achieve all of its goals, agents could have a host of new properties throughout the Caribbean to pitch to young and affluent clients.
