RACie Winner's Book - (Page 8) Peter Glen Congratulations to Best Buy’s BlueShirt Corps — this year’s winner of the Peter Glen Award for Community Service. BlueShirt Corps is a new service program at Best Buy that partners highly-trained and passionate employees with communities in need. Through the program, sixteen Best Buy retail employees are “on call” for the Red Cross to be flown to disaster sites to set up communications systems. Their expertise and assistance allows the Red Cross to help people more quickly and efficiently and Best Buy to give back to the communities. Kudos! Other great programs that were entered this year included Bon-Ton Stores, Toys “R” Us, OfficeMax, Charming Shoppes, Inc., Payless Shoe Source, California Tortilla.
