With four lift height options to choose from, this vehicle allows operators to efficiently pick stocked items from the first, second or third level of racking and place them in a box or on a pallet to complete the order. With the “L” version of the EKS 110, the platform and load section can be raised to a height of 118 inches, allowing individual items to be picked from heights up to 15 feet. As a result, order picking is possible up to the third level of racking. The truck’s auxiliary lift or “Z” version, which allows the forks to be positioned at the perfect height for the operator, is a configuration in which an extra set of controls has been added on the fork side of the platform. It allows the operator to position and handle goods in an ergonomically safe way to eliminate injuries. Lifting capacity is rated at 2,200 lbs. and, thanks to its stable, counterbalanced design, low center of gravity and wide range of fork configurations, the EKS 110 can pick up pallets or crates both longitudinally and crosswise. www.jungheinrich-us.com. The solution increases the speed and accuracy of communications from the field, freeing up mobile workers to focus on their primary tasks. Whether those tasks are selling, driving, hauling waste or installing cable television service, SkyMail is changing the mobile communications landscape with this simple yet powerful business messaging, collaboration and documentation tool. With SkyMail, subscribers wirelessly dictate document and share important messages and events to an individual or group by simply making a call from their cellular phone. The sender simply selects a pre-assigned recipient or subject line from their mobile phone’s contact list to call and speaks a message that is recorded and delivered to the Inbox of an individual or group (as large as 50) as an audio email. The recipient receives an e-mail containing a link to the voice message and a text reply box, enabling him/her to reply with a text message delivered directly to the sender’s phone. All messages are time and date stamped for documentation and stored on a secure password protected website for tracking and record-keeping purposes. www.SkyMail.net ■ www.PARCELindustry.com May 2008 33 http://www.bluepackage.com http://www.dhlglobalmail.com http://www.dmgincorporated.com http://www.dodge.com/sprinter http://www.envelopemanager.com http://smartpost.fedex.com http://www.fpintl.com http://www.geami.com http://www.jungheinrich-us.com http://www.gencoparcel.com http://www.greenmountainconsulting.com http://www.haslerinc.com http://www.intravex.com http://www.PARCELindustry.com http://www.PARCELforum.com http://www.pb.com http://www.precisionsoftware.com http://www.SkyMail.net http://www.speedeedelivery.com http://www.PARCELindustry.com
