The new Centerline Conveyor for Inkjet Printing Systems moves printheads and guide rails in and out with one crank adjustment handle, significantly reducing changeover time between carton sizes. The conveyor system handles carton widths from 10.5” to 25.5” and can be used with Hi-Resolution Inkjet, DOD Valvejet or Continuous Inkjet Printers. Split guide rails and printhead mounting allows printing at the bottom of the cartons. Standard conveyor speed is fixed at 65 feet per minute, with other speeds available and the option of variable speed. Overall conveyor length is six feet by 46” (cranked in) or 61” (cranked out) wide. ID Technology, a division of Pro Mach, is a manufacturer and integrator of labeling, coding and marking systems as well as peripheral equipment, supplies and service. www.idtechnology.com DHL Global Mail www.dhlglobalmail.com Page 44 Distribution Management Group www.dmgincorporated.com Page 38 Dodge www.dodge.com Page 2 Endicia www.envelopemanager.com Page 17 FP International www.fpintl.com Page 22 Genco www.gencoparcel.com Page 19 Integrated Small Package Shipping Green Mountain Consulting www.greenmountainconsulting.com Page 15 Hasler, Inc. www.haslerinc.com Page 5 RedPrairie Corporation, a world-leading, consumer-driven optimization company, released its parcel manifesting system, which is fully integrated with both the RedPrairie Warehouse Management and Transportation Management systems. Certified by the major parcel carriers, the system supports time-definite shipments for US-based shippers, a critical requirement to support multi-channel retailers and other direct-to-consumer shippers. The tight integration with core logistics systems optimizes selection of the lowest-cost mode of shipment, including the use of such sophisticated concepts as zone-skipping and pool point distribution. This helps to minimize transportation costs while still meeting customer service requirements. It also improves distribution center productivity and throughput by integrating the small parcel operations with order pick, pack and ship activities. Other time- and cost-saving features of the system include bundling of multiple cartons for manifesting as a single package; pre-manifesting and pre-labeling packages before picking; and printing required international shipping documentation. In addition, RedPrairie maintains up-to-date carrier rate tables and compliant labeling requirements. www.RedPrairie.com Intravex www.intravex.com Page 9 Mettler Toledo www.mt.com/dimensioning Page 3 PARCEL www.PARCELindustry.com Page 31, 39 PARCEL Forum www.PARCELforum.com Page 23 Pitney Bowes www.pb.com Page 43 Conformer Plastic Envelope Goes Green Conformer Expansion Products has just launched its award-winning plastic expansion envelope in 75% post-consumer material.
