Parcel - November 2008 - (Page 33) advertiser index Atlantic Central The fork laser emits a beam that provides lift truck operators with a guide for correct fork placement when retrieving product. The life span of the fork laser attachment exceeds 10,000 hours, while each battery pack lasts up to forty hours on a full charge. Especially useful in environments with low visibility, the laser can be displayed as either a dot beam or line beam, depending upon operator preference. Also available from Hyster is the fork camera option, which provides a “fork eye view” at elevated heights. This allows the operator to not only retrieve and replace product more efficiently, but can also help to reduce workplace accidents caused by inaccurate fork placement. Mounted to the fork carriage, the camera sends a digital image to a 7.5” color monitor located in the top left corner of the operator compartment. Currently available only on the Hyster narrow aisle ZR Reach truck, the fork attachments demonstrate the Hyster commitment to helping operators work in the most productive, safe and efficient setting. www.hyster.com. www.atlanticcentral.com Page 31 Automated Packaging Systems www.autobag.com/shipping Page 3 Cass Information Systems www.cassparcel.com Page 21 Datatrac www.datatrac.com Page 17 DHL Global Mail www.dhlglobalmail.com Page 36 Dodge www.dodge.com/sprinter Page 2 Endicia www.envelopemanager.com Page 7 EFG 2 AND 3 SERIES TRUCKS Genco www.gencoparcel.com Page 25 Green Mountain Consulting www.greenmountainconsulting.com Page 15 Jungheinrich Lift Truck Corp., a green manufacturer and supplier of eco-friendly AC-controlled electric lift trucks, has announced two new series of high performance counterbalanced trucks with capacities ranging from 2,500 to 4,000 lbs. The EFG 213-220 and EFG 316320 both provide state-of-the-art, fourth generation, three-phase AC technology in their drive, hydraulic and steering systems. The presence of this advanced technology is significant because it leads directly to higher levels of energy efficiency, as well as superior truck performance in terms of travel speeds, lift/lower speeds, acceleration and ramp handling ability. It also means longer run times on a single battery charge. The motors, controllers and software in the new vehicles were designed by Jungheinrich to work together smoothly and efficiently. Under separate test conditions to measure efficiency and performance, they provide a 10% and 5% improvement, respectively, over previous EFG truck models. No other company serving the U.S. market offers electric counterbalanced trucks with such a high level of AC technology. Both series allow the operator to charge and change the battery via simple access from the side of the truck, and provide the convenience of several battery extraction methods, including the use of a hand pallet truck, forklift or crane. www.jungheinrich-us.com Hasler, Inc. www.haslerinc.com Page 5 Intravex www.intravex.com Page 19 Mettler Toledo www.mt.com/dimensioning Page 13 PARCEL www.PARCELindustry.com Page 22, 29 Precision Software www.precisionsoftware.com Page 23 Sealed Air www.sealedair.com Page 35 Sunago Systems www.sunagosystems.com Page 9 www.PARCELindustry.com November 2008 33 http://www.atlanticcentral.com http://www.autobag.com/shipping http://www.cassparcel.com http://www.datatrac.com http://www.dhlglobalmail.com http://www.dodge.com/sprinter http://www.hyster.com http://www.envelopemanager.com http://www.gencoparcel.com http://www.greenmountainconsulting.com/ http://www.haslerinc.com http://www.intravex.com http://www.mt.com/dimensioning http://www.PARCELindustry.com http://www.precisionsoftware.com http://www.sealedair.com http://www.jungheinrich-us.com http://www.sunagosystems.com http://www.PARCELindustry.com
