Personal Fitness Professional - May 2008 - (Page 7) [ LETTER K E L LI FROM THE EDITOR] CA L A B RE SE [ED IT I DON’T KNOW ANYONE WHO IS PERFECTLY CONTENT with their current situation or who We may be too heavily focused on our profession and then at times shift to a heavier focus on our relationships, socialization or fitness. Just about every trainer who I come in contact with wants more out of life and wants more balance. I don’t know any trainers who want to work more. They may want more clients to fill their hours, but rarely do they want to put more time in. Take a hard look at what’s working, what’s not, where you want to get to and how you will get there. When a problem arises, it’s usually a sign of imbalance, and balance is different for everyone. For some, charity work is important; for others, it’s not a priority at all. One person’s financial cushion is different than another’s. If there is some discomfort in your life, it’s due to an imbalance in that area. Maybe it’s guilt about not spending time with your children in order to do weekend and late evening training sessions. If there is something in your life that you don’t like, change it! If your wellness wheel is creating a bumpy ride, now would be a great time to read Robert Cappuccio’s article entitled “Live a Legacy” to give some thought to the balance in your life and how it can be enhanced. Ask better questions, and get better answers. Wishing you continued success, WRITERS] MAY2008 · WWW.FIT-PRO.COM 7 27 http://www.hippocratesinst.org http://www.aeawave.com http://WWW.FIT-PRO.COM
