Personal Fitness Professional - March 2009 - (Page 32) Born A PRODUCT IS The adventures of launching a new fitness product By Marc Lebert My first fitness product, The Equalizer, was born out of a need to do more with less. I wanted to create a simple way to work the back with limited space and budget. Specifically, I wanted to work the back muscles of an in-home client whose goals included the ability to do a chin-up. As with many home gyms, having a lat pull-down machine was too bulky and expensive, and a chin-up bar in the door was just not practical for 90% of my home clients.
