RIMS 2009 Conference Program - (Page 23) On-Site Registration Policies and Procedures RIMS accepts American Express, Visa, MasterCard, cash, corporate/ personal/traveler’s checks or money orders payable in U.S. dollars drawn from a U.S. bank for payment of registration fees. On-site registration fees are non-refundable. Registration materials will be released only to the individual whose name appears on the badge. Photo identification (driver’s license or passport) or credit card will be required. Business cards are not an acceptable form of identification. ARE yOu A MEMBER OF thE PREss? RIMS welcomes media to RIMS 2009! Complimentary press passes are available for accredited press. For convenience, the Press Room provides a telephone, printer, computers with Internet access and laptop stations. The room is also a hub for reporters to gather information about exhibitors and press conferences, pick up news releases and learn about key events taking place throughout the week. IMPORTANT NOTE: RIMS 2009 Press Room is not open on Sunday, April 19; however Wi-Fi Internet access is available throughout the Orange County Convention Center from Smart City Network for a fee of $4.95/hr. Daily rates are also available. Hotel Reservation and Cancellation Policy RIMS has negotiated special hotel rates for attendees. Please log on to www.RIMS.org/Housing at any time or call (877) 517-3037 (US) or (404) 584-7458 (International) through March 20 to secure your hotel reservation. If you do not arrive at your hotel or cancel your reservation in accordance with the hotel cancellation policy, your credit card will be billed by the hotel and you will forfeit any deposits applied to your reservation. A reservation will only be considered canceled with a cancellation number from Ambassadors or the hotel. Please do not contact RIMS offices for hotel reservations. RIMS Respects Your Privacy E-Mail Addresses: RIMS will not release your e-mail address to any third parties. Mailing List: RIMS provides the attendee mailing list to exhibitors for a one-time usage. If you wish to be excluded from the mailing list, check the respective box during the registration process. Demographic Information: Your individual and company demographic information, name and address are stored in the barcode on your conference badge. If you allow an exhibitor to scan your badge, you will be releasing your information to that exhibitor. If you do not want your demographics included in your badge information, check the respective box during the registration process. (RIMS) or its service providers may be used in promotional materials and on the Internet.
