The group’s goals are to communicate among alumni about sustainability at Rensselaer and beyond; connect alumni and students with environmental careers; keep alumni informed about environmental groups on campus and in the regions; raise money for a fund for sustainable student organizations; and help make alumni campus events greener. Programs are held on campus and in conjunction with regional chapters. For more information, contact Geoff Seber at email@example.com or (518) 276-2324.
ALUMNI CHAPTERS HELPING THEIR COMMUNITIES
Alumni chapters across the country are pitching in to help out in their communities. Events such as D.C./Baltimore’s annual D.C. Cares Servathon and New Jersey’s participation in the Lymphomathon give alumni an opportunity to make a difference where they live, while meeting other area alumni and having fun at the same time. Do you know of a volunteer activity for your local chapter? Contact your local chapter leadership (visit alumni.rpi.edu for information) or write to firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know about it!
