Rubber Expo Show Daily 2008 - (Page Cover1) Louisville Mini Expo Attracts 1,800 Plus The Rubber Division, ACS hosted a total of 1,819 attendees for the Rubber Mini Expo and 174th Technical Meeting in Louisville, KY, October 14-16, 2008. This year’s Rubber Mini Expo booth space was sold out with 168 exhibitors in Louisville, KY. Another highlight was a keynote presentation given by Dr. George Woodall, a toxicologist from the National Center for Environmental Assessment with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for the VIP Luncheon. Long-time Rubber Division member Leo Whalen was also presented the Arnold Smith Special Service Award for his countACS Mini show banner ad-final 9/24/08 5:22 PM Page 1 less hours of dedication to serving in numerous leadership roles and committee positions. 174th Technical Meeting This year’s Technical Meeting was kicked off with a keynote presentation from Hugh D. Pace, chairman of the board and CEO, Pirelli Tire North America. A total of 90 papers was presented at the 174th Technical Meeting.
