As the automotive industry further advance in propulsion
electrification, electric motors have to feature greater
performance, improve efficiency, shrink package size,
reduce weight, and reduce cost. The industry calls for
cost-effective and high quality products, however, often
at production volume not yet at the level of conventional
powertrains. JJE has proven to have unique advantage

Headquartered in Beijing, China, JJE has an industry
leading engineering team in electric motors and
controls. JJE possesses fundamental capabilities in
electromagnetic, mechanical, thermal, fluid, noise and
vibration, and a world class testing and validation
facility. JJE has a modern manufacturing plant located
in Shanghai, capable of producing 100,000 high
power electric motors per year, which is producing
high power traction electric motors and generators for
a US range extended electric vehicle. These electric
machines feature the highest singlemotor power and
power density in the industry among volume-produced
