The Hotel Contessa is an all suite River Walk property. Get Ready for Grand Hyatt's Grand Entrance In 2008, the long-awaited Grand Hyatt Hotel opens adjacent to San Antonio's Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center boasting over 1,000 rooms. With approximately 80,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, the new hotel's state-of-the-art amenities complement the city's famously friendly and service-oriented atmosphere. Hyatt veteran Scott Lane, Director of Sales and Marketing, is on board and bringing 16 years of hospitality experience to the table. Lane is already fielding phone calls and helping meeting planners take full advantage of the hotel's services. Hotel Contessa – Suites on the River Walk The new $30 million, 266-room hotel boasts 10,000 sq. ft. of conference space including a 2,400 sq. ft. ballroom. Drury Plaza Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk Located in the old Alamo Bank Building along the River Walk, the 366-room hotel will open in early 2007. The hotel will feature expansive meeting space and a river-level restaurant. Once complete, it will be the largest Drury Hotel.
