The Genius of Leonardo Exhibit The Genius of Leonardo exhibit Makes u.S. Debut Making its U.S. debut at San Antonio’s beloved Witte Museum, The Genius of Leonardo takes visitors into the magical world of Da Vinci through models of machines built from his drawings. To solve everyday problems, such as the easiest way to lift a heavy load, Da Vinci devised many simple and inventive machines. He often employed the laws of nature (many of which he knew before they were defined by science) to design ways to convert motion into energy, gears and lifting systems. Other models include a moving battle tank made of wood and equipment devised for man to walk on water. This moving experience will run from June 21 through September 7, 2008. The Witte is always a great place for meetings with a location on the San Antonio River, adjacent to Brackenridge Park.
