Its J6 Camera System is designed to meet 901 D Grade “A” Shock Certifications and pass IP67 requirements. The System is comprised of three (3) LRU’s (Line Replaceable Units) including the imaging devices and the Pan/Tilt Mechanism. The J6 incorporates a 360º continuous pan and a +/- 90º tilt. It is a versatile product that can be configured to be “Mission Specific” and designed to meet the customer’s specifications and particular application. The 100mm lens has the capability of making a distinction between humansized objects at 1.5 miles. The J6 is nitrogen charged to prevent moisture from forming on the optics, which provide maximum optical quality. Product applications include anti-submarine warfare, mine countermeasures, port security, underwater surveillance and exploration, and anti-terrorist and force protection operations. The HAI Diver Interdiction SystemDIS is a controlled and scalable acoustic system. The DIS outputs a controlled burst of high pressured air resulting in an acoustic impulse wave that causes the diver to be disoriented and have physical pain. The diver has no choice but to surface. The effective range is 100’s of yards. 32 MARINE LOG JANUARY 2008 There are two systems. The first, is a completely self-contained All-In-One, portable system suitable for deployment from a patrol boat, dock or pier near the approaching underwater threat. The second system is modular and mainly used for customized applications where the standard portable AllIn-One DIS is not applicable. The modularity of the system allows for a supplied air source, multiple guns, and many different length applications. The configuration of the HAI DIS can be customized to satisfy the particular needs of each user. This system incorporates a 20 in 3 air gun that is deployable pier side or from a small boat, and allows continuous variable firing pressure over the firing pressure range of the gun, which has a maximum of 3,000 psi.
