Mark Routledge has joined McMurdo, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of safety equipment and distress beacons, as operations manager. He will manage the manufacturing and supply chain within the company’s expanding factory environment, working closely with key suppliers. Lloyd’s Register, London, appointed Iain Light as Global Oil & Gas director. Ron Pauley joins Seattle’s Stabbert Yacht and Ship (SYS) as the shipyard general manager. Pauley has 30 years’ experience in the maritime industry. SYS shipyard is the largest yacht refit and conversion yard on the Pacific Coast. General Maritime Corporation, New York, N.Y., announced that Steve A. Kaplan has stepped down from the company's board of directors . Following the departure of Mr. Kaplan, General Maritime will have a total of six Directors. The majority of the company's board remains independent with extensive experience in shipping, finance and the capital markets.
