Marine Log - March 2009 - (Page 23) EMISSIONS FINDING A BALANCE ON EMISSIONS C lassification society American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) has partnered with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in a comprehensive emissions study aimed at helping ship operators, owners and designers better understand air emission issues and their impact on ship design.
