Currently, Widdows is also CEO of NOL’s container shipping business APL. A familiar face is returning to Aker Yards next month—Martin Landtman held senior management positions within the company between 1979 and 2003. He returns this September to manage three yards: Turku, Rauma and Helsinki. Aluminum Chambered Boats, Bellingham, Wash., announced the appointment of its new president and COO Jim Moore. Vice Admiral Joseph D. Stewart, Superintendent of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, N.Y., recently announced his retirement from government service. The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) promoted Kenyatta Y. Lee to the position of senior director, Administration. Last month, the 31st annual Silver Bell Awards Dinner took place. The event’s honorees included Michael Grey, a former editor of Fairplay International Shipping Weekly and Lloyd’s List; William O. Gray, a 50- year maritime veteran and Paul S.
