Driscoll will oversee sales, trade and marketing for the company’s U.S. operations. In addition, Todd Rives was promoted to vice president, U.S. Trade and Line management. Doug Ceva will also be joining the company as vice president for U.S.A sales. Houston-headquartered ABS appointed Todd Grove to the position of president and chief operating officer for ABS’ Pacific Division. Grove is the former Chief of Staff for the company’s headquarters. Cornel J. Martin has been named president and CEO of Waterways Council Inc., Washington, D.C. Crowley Maritime, Jacksonville, Fla., has promoted Cole Cosgrove to vice president of Maritime Personnel. Vince Godfrey has been named Seattlebased Foss Maritime Company’s senior vice president, Global Services. Germanischer Lloyd, Hamburg, Germany, has appointed Norbert Krav to the position of chief surveyor. Hornblower Marine Services, New Albany, Ind., announced the promotion of William Annand to vice president. The Maritime Administration has named Alan T. Hicks the head of its new Southern California Gateway office in Long Beach. Austal USA, Mobile, Ala.,underwent a few management changes last month. Bob Browning has been promoted to the managing director and CEO of parent Austal Limited, after John Rothwell stepped down from his executive duties. Rothwell will have a non-executive role with the company. Browning will continue to be based in Mobile. Replacing Browning as president of Austal’s U.S. Operations in Mobile is Joe Rella. And in other company news, Michael Pinkham was appointed director of commercial sales for the Austal’s Mobile, Ala., team.
