He will replace the retiring Ken Okabayshi, who held the position for 14 years. Alexander & Baldwin, Inc., Honolulu, Hawaii, announced a series of managment changes last month. Stanley M. Kuriyama was named president of the company, while Matthew J. Cox was appointed president of the company’s subsidiary, Matson Navigation Company. In addition, James S. Andrasick was named chariman of Matson Navigation. The STX-ing of Aker Yards ASA is underway with South Korea’s STX now owning 92% of the companies shares and renaming Aker Yards ASA, STX EUROPE. At a shareholders meeting last month, Su-Jou Kim was appointed CEO of STX Norway AS, as well as chairman of the board for Hitoshi Matsumoto ABS Sean T. Connaughton FMC Michael Roberts CROWLEY STX Europe. Kwange-Gi Lo, current manager of STX Corporation’s London office, has also been elected to serve on the board. In addition, Sang-Ho Shin was appointed COO of STX Europe. John Caccivio has been promoted to vice president of Austal U.S.A.’s Global Defense program. The U.S. Maritime Administration has named Kevin M. Tokarski as its new Associate Administrator for National Security. In addition, H. Keith Lesnick has been appointed the new associate administrator for Intermodal Systems Development. President Bush intends to nominate Sean T. Connaughton to be Commissioner of the Federal Maritime Commission and upon appointment designate Chairman, for the remainder of a five-year term expiring June 30, 2012. Connaughton is the U.S. Maritime Administrator. Michael Roberts has rejoined Crowley Maritime Corporation as senior vice president and general counsel.
