Lundstrom will be responsible for the legal, insurance and human relations/benefits staffs of the company and will also act as Tidewater’s Chief Compliance Officer. Lundstrom has had a 10 year career within the oil and gas industry, with experience both domestically and internationally. Rigdon Marine, Houston, Tex., announced that James (Jim) Stannard has joined the company as director, sales and marketing. Stannard joined the offshore vessel support industry in 1987 in sales and management positions in the domestic markets. Stannard will be working out of Rigdon Marine’s Houston offices. Tommy Thompson has joined Crowley Maritime Corporation, Jacksonville, Fla., as the director of maintenance and repair (M&R) in the company’s liner service group. Also, Crowley Maritime Corporation announced Steve Demeroutis as director of labor relations. Demeroutis is responsible for all labor relations activities for the East Coast, and has more than 15 years of experience in labor relations. Titan Salvage, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Crowley Maritime Corporation’s salvage and wreck-removal company, announced that Mark Hoddinott has joined its team as managing director of its European operations. Hoddinott is responsible for the sales and marketing efforts of Titan in the region, as well as pursuing new business and contracts. Austal, Mobile, Ala., announced the appointment of Joe Rella as COO for Austal’s Mobile shipyard. Rella has more than 10 years of experience at shipyards on the Gulf Coast. Peter Brock, former president of Lloyd’s Register North America, Houston, Tex., retired after 35 years of service. Callisto Gerolimich Cosulich, 95, chairman of the shipping group Fratelli Cosulich, Genova, recently passed away.
