Manages the sales efforts of assigned sales managers. Designs brand strategy. Develops strategies for the retention of current account base and the development of new accounts. Makes final decisions on administrative and operational matters and ensures effective achievement of objectives. Primary Responsibilities: • Railroad automation sales and marketing activities, primarily in the areas of wayside signaling and communications • Interface to Mass Transit and Freight Railroad Customers • Interface to consultants, subcontractors, and partners • Lead efforts in support of Project Acquisitions, • Engineering Services sales, and Product sales and support • Support of Market Analysis and Opportunities Definition • General Industry Representation • Reports directly to the Director of U.S. Sales (Rail Automation division) Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in Railroad Signaling and Communications, preferably in a sales role • Extensive technical knowledge of the railroad signaling and communication products and applications • Engineering degree preferred • International experience preferred Education: BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
