Railway Track & Structures - October 2008 - (Page 10) AREMA NEWS President’s Column t the AREMA Annual Conference in Salt Lake City, a number of leadership changes occurred on the Board of Governors, Board of Directors and the Standing and Technical Committees. I thank all the governors, directors and committee chairs who completed their terms in September, for their dedicated service to AREMA and for the services they have provided to the industry while serving on the boards and committees. These individuals were recognized for their service at the Annual Conference. A number of new leaders are joining the boards and committees to replace those who are leaving and AREMA very much appreciates their willingness to become active and contribute to our industry’s engineering and operating mission.
