Call For Nominations Notice to all members of AREMA: The 2007-2008 Nominating Committee, under the chairmanship of Immediate Past President J. Chris Dodge hereby solicits suggestions and recommendations of candidates to serve on the Functional Group Board of Directors of AREMA in the following positions: All must be members of AREMA in good standing. • (1) Senior Vice President one-year term Must be a current or past member of the AREMA Board of Directors, and must be employed by a railway or transit company. • (2) Functional Group Vice Presidents two-year term (Track, Maintenance, Passenger & Transit, Communications & Signals) Must be current or past members of the AREMA Board of Directors. • Each of the six (6) Functional Groups will have a vacancy to be filled in the Functional Group Director positions – three-year term. Nominating recommendation should be submitted via letter or fax, and should include all documentation to substantiate the recommendation. This must be signed by the member making the recommendation. Deadline for Receipt of Recommendations is January 15, 2008. The Nominating Committee will consider all recommendations.
