When he merged his firm with Hampton Biodiesel, led by Malek Jalal – who now serves as Innovation Fuels’ president – the duo knew they had something special. Experience combined with the financial backing of some of the largest institutional investors – including Credit Suisse Group, RNK Capital LLC and Lyrical Partners – have positioned Innovation Fuels as one of the leading biodiesel firms in the industry. Innovation Fuels is able to remain competitive by maintaining strategically located port locations. “We literally have a refinery in New York Harbor, which allows us to serve the Northeast market,” Fox points out. “We also have a distribution market in Milwaukee, which allows us to serve the Great Lakes region. We have international sales distribution in Europe and Asia.
