According to NGP, the site covers 10,984 acres and is located 21 miles from the state’s electrical transmission grid. In addition, the company has a 20-year power purchase agreement with NV Energy. “The Blue Mountain nameplate capacity 49.5 megawatt power plant is on schedule and [now online], putting NGP on the road to revenue,” the company says.
