Founded in 1956 by Spearing’s father, Ken, Spearing Service maintains a unique customer base of small- to mid-sized companies. In 1989, Don Spearing took over the business with his brother, Trevor, and grew the company from 25 trucks and 10 trailers to 65 trucks and 90 trailers in 2005. The Oxbow, Saskatchewan-based firm is able to supply oilfield services throughout the western provinces and in North Dakota through three different locations throughout southeastern Saskatchewan and southwestern Manitoba.
