amphitheater and a rose
garden beyond compare.
Picnic and fishing areas
are also located within
the park.
M Storybook Island
is the next stop on your
tour. This fairyland
park with nurseryrhyme
displays, live
animals and a special
playground is one
of Rapid City’s most
popular attractions and

the Children’s Theater.

wood carvings, fancy

church spiral up alongside
the pines.
M Canyon Lake Park
has a wonderful lakeshore
promenade, a spe-

Rapid City has

cooperative effort of the
Parks Department and
the Garden Club. One
of the principal gardens
