atertown is home to the Redlin Art Center, a gift from world-famous artist Terry Redlin to the state of South Dakota and Redlin’s hometown. Over 150 of Redlin’s original oil paintings are featured within the three-story gallery visible for miles along I-29 in Watertown. A 30-acre wildlife refuge with walking trails and gazebos, life-size Comforts of Home Cabin, and expanded gift shops can also be enjoyed. Admission is FREE!

One must visit the Mellette House, the Codington Count y Heritage Museum, and the historic Goss Gallery and Opera House. Each offers a broad look at the area’s history, art, entertainment and cultural activities. ■ 70
