SEAHO News SEAHO as the liaison between the two committees, helping with registration and web sitemaintenance/updates. I would love the opportunity to serve SEAHO again as the Member at Large for State Representatives. After being so involved on the state level as well as regionally for the past few years I have connected with colleagues who inspire me to grow professionally while supporting those who need assistance. I have worked in my state association to provide the best support and growth we could achieve each year and I believe I can do the same with the State Representatives in the SEAHO region. As of February 2014 I will be done serving in GHO and will have the time and energy needed to give back to SEAHO as it has given to me over the past few years. Serving in the State Representative position for half of a year allowed me some insight to what support is needed to fulfill this role. In the past few years I have been invested in my state association to a high degree and now I believe it is time to get invested in my regional association more in depth. I will continue to stay involved professionally and to reach out to those in need regardless of a position, but believe that it is time to give back to those in my profession through this opportunity. I am in my 18th year at the College of William & Mary where I currently serve as Associate Director for Administration in Residence Life. I have worked within the SEAHO region for 23 years and over the years I have been actively involved with both SEAHO and the Virginia Association for College and University Housing Officers (VACUHO). SEAHO has afforded me many opportunities to grow professionally over the years and having the opportunity to serve as Member at Large will allow me to give back to the organization that has given me so much. I have eagerly sought out ways to serve SEAHO over the years including mentoring young professionals and presenting programs at eight different SEAHO conferences.
