SEAHO President
* Annually, the Executive Board will review goals and strategies and create new action steps in support of
each strategy. (A partial list of 2014 action steps was developed on 7/23/13.)
* Committees will annually "own" strategies that connect with their work. In that way, all committees will be
directly and actively tied to the strategic plan.
The draft plan was presented and discussed with the Governing Council at Mid Year Meeting in October.
After minor revisions proposed by the Governing Council, the draft will be offered at the Business Meeting for
membership approval. We are excited about the plan, and confident that it will guide SEAHO as we advance
excellence in housing programs for the next 50 years.
21 years ago I was inspired to make SEAHO my professional development family. I have served the association in a variety of ways for more than two decades. I have realized a great dream to serve as SEAHO president.
The opportunity to assist in the planning of the 50th anniversary, and to guide the completion of a new strategic
plan has been surreal.
It has been my great privilege to serve as your president and I look forward to the celebration of our SEAHO
past, present and future in Louisville. Thank you for allowing me to serve you.
