Committee Reports What are your committee's goals/action plan for the upcoming year? Corporate Partners: We talked about growing some of the things we did this year like some of our work on infographics for delegates and corporate partners. We discussed what we finished at the 2017 conference and looked for feedback, especially around layout of the hall, meals in the hall and general flow of delegates. We set the goal of looking to obtain a minimum of 90 booths for SEAHO 2018 and a minimum of $30,000 in sponsorships. Marketing & Organizational Promotions: * Implement Trello as a means of communication within the committee * Promote #SEAHOAllYear * Promote the SEAHO committees & state rep updates * Reach out to new members/institutions (create postcard to send to CHOs for new pros/grads) * Submit to each SEAHO Report * Maintain our Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook (potentially utilize LinkedIn) * Brainstorm ideas to create a Job Board for SEAHO * Potentially start Twitter chats in the summer * Focus on marketing trends and how we can best capitalize on social media usage. We want to promote SEAHO as an organization as a whole, not just as a conference. Graduate Issues and Involvement: The two primary goals of the committee are to increase the graduate student presence within SEAHO at the annual conference and to increase the development and interaction with graduate students throughout the year. The goals of the subcommittees are in the process of being solidified as subcommittee co-chairs have been recently selected. I have shared with the subcommittee co-chairs my goals for each subcommittee as they move forward with planning. SEAHONext * Create a way to foster mentoring relationships all year * Develop a system to pair graduate assistants and new professionals for mentoring year round Partnerships and Recognition * Continue or develop new recognition initiatives * Partner with Career Services committee to create opportunities for resume reviews and mock interviews all year Communication * Continue Facebook and Twitter utilization * Encourage grad students to submit to the SEAHO report and blog SEAHO Conference * Continue SEAHO Grad Social, possibly adding a get to know everyone activity * Implementing a meeting for grad students who are attending SEAHO for a 2nd year * Increasing grad track programs * Host inaugural Graduate Student Preconference 11 SEAHO Report Summer 2017
